Terms and Conditions for Laser-Etch

1. General 1.1 These terms and conditions govern all transactions between Laser-Etch ("we," "us," "our") and our customers ("you," "your"). By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. 1.2 Our products are laser-engraved using materials such as anodised aluminium, wood, stainless steel, acrylic, brass, slate, and plated products. Due to the nature of these materials and the engraving process, variations may occur.

2. Orders and Customisation 2.1 All orders must be placed with accurate specifications, including text, images, and design requirements. We will provide proofs for approval when applicable. 2.2 Once an item has been engraved, no changes can be made. It is your responsibility to review and approve all design proofs before production.

3. Product Characteristics 3.1 Materials used, such as anodised aluminium, wood, stainless steel, acrylic, brass, slate, and plated products, may show natural variations in texture, colour, and finish. These are not considered defects. 3.2 Engraved items may be susceptible to scratching or wear over time. Proper care is recommended to maintain the appearance and longevity of the product.

4. Acceptance and Refunds 4.1 Once you have accepted the completed product, no refunds or exchanges will be provided. 4.2 If you identify an issue with your product upon receipt, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery or collection. We will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis, but we reserve the right to decline any refund or replacement requests for issues arising from customer-provided specifications or normal variations in the engraving process.

5. Photography and Social Media 5.1 We reserve the right to photograph completed products and use these images for marketing purposes, including on social media platforms and our website. 5.2 If you do not wish for your product to be photographed or featured, you must notify us in writing when placing your order.

6. Liability 6.1 Laser-Etch is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use, care, or handling of the engraved products. 6.2 While we take every precaution to ensure the quality and accuracy of our work, we are not liable for errors resulting from customer-provided specifications or instructions.

7. Intellectual Property 7.1 By providing us with designs, text, or images for engraving, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use them. Laser-Etch is not responsible for any copyright or trademark infringements.

8. Care Instructions 8.1 Customers are advised to follow any care instructions provided for specific materials. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product, for which we are not responsible.

9. Governing Law 9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of its courts.

10. Amendments 10.1 Laser-Etch reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to orders placed after the changes are published.
